If you’re looking for a problem-free life, perhaps it is time to stop looking ahead and reflect instead, and perhaps to “look beyond what you see”.

Like the wise shaman from a favourite childhood film once said: “The past can hurt…but you can either run from it, or learn from it.” And what better way to learn than through the stories of our past.

The Lion King has many subliminal messages of morality and we’re sure that there is at least one piece of advice that must have stayed with you, if you had been lucky enough to see this film. However, the canniest advice found within this movie was something said by the odd and carefree characters Timon and Pumbaa.

The best guidance often comes when we’re not even looking for it, when we are blissfully distracted by the more joyous things in life. When we stop concerning ourselves with the ways in which we ‘ought to’ behave, we allow a pure understanding to enter the scene.

“It means no worries…”

The wisdom of wandering through life without worry is a wondrous way to live. To be free from stress is to stop suppressing the greatness that we are capable of. We crave careless curiosity and courageous creativity.

It’s more than just a hopeful child’s dream to aspire to a lifestyle that supports their exhilarating sense of adventure. It is a basic instinct that we share; to daydream, to desire and to dare to live despite fear. When we are driven by faith, we can conquer all obstacles.

For every problem there are an infinite amount of potential solutions. That is why we can choose to live by the code of “a problem-free philosophy”, and why at GYMSOX we love wearing our socks that remind us thereof…
